In addition to the supply of quality conveyor components, Melco welcomes the opportunity to assist our clients on site to improve the performance of their conveyor systems through method of our conveyor consulting services.
Experienced Melco staff are willing to undertake surveys of conveyor systems at client requests which aim to:
- Assess the performance and correct operation of the components of the conveyor, such as idler performance and life, belt tracking, spillage, belt condition and general conveyor operation with a view to aid the solving of key
- Verify the design parameters such as idler roller design and drive rating against operating conditions.
- Determine installed populations of conveyor rollers for the purpose of optimisation of stock planning.
- A report with detailed findings and recommendations is then submitted to the responsible people.
