Inline weightometers on conveyors electronically measure the throughput on a conveyor. The conveyor idlers used on these scales need to be of a higher precision than standard to ensure that the measurements are accurate.

 

Melco manufactures idler rollers that are suitable for use on conveyor weightometers. These rollers

 

  • Machined to achieve a closer TIR (Total Indicated Runout) than standard A TIR of 0.3 mm is typically required.
  • Dynamic balance to G16 to ISO 1940 balance specification.
  • May require jacking adjustment screws

 

Weigh-class rollers are manufactured according to the same high quality as standard rollers and can also be manufactured in steel in relation to the same size range and standard idler rollers.
