Melco Conveyor Equipment, a leading manufacturer of high-quality conveyor components, continues its commitment to developing South Africa’s future engineering talent. As part of our Skills Development and Employment Equity strategy, we invite applications for the Melco Engineering Bursary Programme – 2026 Intake.
Who Should Apply
We welcome applications from academically committed students currently registered for their 2nd year of study in 2026 in the following Engineering fields:
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be registered full-time at a South African university
- Be entering or completing their 2nd year in 2026
- Achieve a minimum 60% average in their latest academic results
- Demonstrate passion for engineering, innovation, and manufacturing
- Financial need will be an advantage
What the Bursary Covers
The Melco bursary will include:
- Full or partial tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Registration fees
- Additional academic support where required
- Opportunities for vacation work at Melco
- Potential entry into Melco’s Graduate Development pipeline
How to Apply
Applicants must submit:
- A motivation letter
- Comprehensive CV – This must be no more than 2 (two) pages
- Certified copy of ID
- Complete academic record (to date)
- Proof of university registration for 2026
